Opportunity description

At YMCA Training we are part of the world's largest young peoples' movement. For over 40 years we have been working with employers to give young people the confidence and skills to access a career.

Traineeships are designed for individuals who do not yet have the sufficient skills or experience to move into employment. A Traineeship is an education and training programme with work experience which prepares the individual for their future careers. 

The programme includes: 

  • English and maths
  • Vocational areas - Health & Social Care / Childcare / Employability and Personal Development qualifications

We currently have a reputable Motor Vehicle Services company willing to offer a Traineeship as a Mechanic/Technician. The duties will include:

  • carry out high standard maintenance and servicing
  • tyre fitting
