Superb opportunity to join TayCare Medical Ltd who are a leading supplier of orthotic products and services in the UK have a fabulous opportunity to join their team. Established in 1925 the company has grown dramatically over the years with their success being achieved through their passion and unique personable approach along with their investment in new technology and their ability to offer a complete orthotic solution to customers and patients.

As the successful Business Administration Apprentice you will be working 39 hours Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm and Friday's 8am-3:30pm with half an hour for lunch. During the yearlong apprenticeship you will be given full training and support to achieving your Level 2 or Level 3 Business Administration qualification.


Key duties:


  • Reception duties answering a high level of calls in a timely manner taking accurate messages
  • Processing orders using various software packages - (full training will be given)
  • Operate a variety of office machines, including phone, fax, calculator, shredding machine and photocopy machine
  • Carry out most usual general ad-hoc office duties as and when required
  • Maintain and update continuously, by local knowledge and by local means, a log of the availability of staff likely to receive inbound calls.



The successful candidate:

  • Be organised with the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships
  • Computer literate, conversant with MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Be able to work in a team and on your own initiative
  • Have excellent communication skills and time management skills
  • Professional and smart in appearance and have good attention to detail
  • GCSE in Maths and English grades A – C or equivalent
