NVQs mean that you can learn new skills and develop your knowledge without having to quit your job. You'll carry on earning so will have the security of your wage while you do your training. At the end of the course you'll have a recognised qualification and will be better at your job.

Once you've got your NVQ you'll also be more likely to be considered for a pay rise or a promotion.
