What's in it for me?
When you do an Apprenticeship you'll get:
- Hands-on experience in your job
- A National Vocational Qualification (NVQ)
- A Key Skills qualification, showing that you are skilled in one or more of the following areas:
- Communication
- Application of Number
- Information Technology
- A Technical Certificate (included in most Apprenticeships), which is achieved through off the job training and will help you get to grips with the skills and knowledge needed for your role
How will this help me?
Once you're a qualified Apprentice, you'll not only be better at your job, but you'll have that extra edge in the job market, improving your chances of getting a pay rise and a promotion.
If you are on a placement for your Apprenticeship, many employers will offer you a permanent full-time job either during the course or once you've finished. If not, then you'll be in great position to get another job as you'll have your qualification.
