Lisa joined YMCA Training in December 2010 on our
Foundation Learning Programme.
When Lisa fist joined the programme she was incredibly quiet and
lacked essential social skills. Lisa had some personal issues
that affected her attendance and ability to fully commit to her
training programme. The staff at YMCA Training in Chester
realised her potential and with support and guidance Lisa has gone
from strength to strength. Since joining YMCA Training Lisa
has achieved a total of 7 qualifications including Awards,
Certificates and Diploma's in Customer Service.
Lisa left YMCA Training in December 2011 as she had secured
herself an Apprenticeship in Retail with Key for Skills, employed
for 37 hours per week at Yeomans.
Lisa said: "YMCA Training has helped me to get a job
because they have increased my confidence, my grades and also my
qualifications. I have improved my team working skills and
they have also helped me to understand about the workplace, what
Customer Service involves and understand what customers want and
how to help them".
