Opportunity description

GO30 is a multi-Award winning business; a female only gym.  At GO30 our unique 30 minute workouts mean that you can fit in the time that you need and get great results too.  Our all female team provide a close level of attention, not often seen in a gym for women.  GO30 are seeking to recruit a female Fitness Instructor who must have a passion for the fitness industry, a friendly and outgoing personality.  35 hours per week Monday-Friday shifts between the hours of 8am-8pm.  The successful candidate will be working towards NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Instructing Exercise & Fitness (Gym) together with Functional Skills Maths and English at either Level 1 or Level 2 as or if appropriate.  Candidates must have already achieved GCSE grades E or above  (or equivalent) in Maths and English Language.


  • Maintain and look to exceed standards of cleanliness and maintenance in all areas of the operation
  • Adopt a caring and fun approach to all member interaction aiming to deliver "best in the business" standards of member care
  • Attend and actively participate in regular meetings
  • Further your knowledge of the health and fitness industry with special relevance to any areas which you deliver within the club setting; including reading industry magazines/publications or attending workshops whenever possible
  • Use company property with care
  • Be a company ambassador at all times and look for opportunities to further the good reputation of the company whenever possible
  • Respect the confidentiality of all company materials, including intellectual property and avoid removing these from the premises
  • Always be impeccably punctual and plan your time carefully
  • Greet any member you meet anywhere within the Club at any time with the ability to build rapport with members, visitors and staff
  • Have input, where requested, into written material and notice boards.
