YMCA Training Salford learners visited by Mayor of Salford

Young learners at YMCA Training in Salford celebrated their achievements recently with a visit by the Mayor of Salford, Councillor George William Wilson.

The Mayor and the Mayoress visited YMCA Training Salford to find out more about the work the location does, and to meet staff and learners.

During their visit, the Mayor and Mayoress also took the opportunity to present learners with certificates to mark their achievements whilst on their YMCA Training programmes.

Carl Peacock and Dean Traynor were presented with their NVQ Level 3 Horticulture certificates.  Their employer, Nigel Smith from Worsley Golf Club, was also present.

Daniel Beardmore was also presented with his Learner of the Month certificate and his auntie and uncle attended.

Childcare learners Nicola Fleury and Lindsay Cross will also be presented with their NVQ Level 4 Child Care certificates next month in their respective nurseries.
