YMCA Training Doncaster’s pre-16 learners celebrate success.

On Tuesday 28th June, referral agencies, schools and parents of pre-16 learners from YMCA Training Doncaster attended the pre-16 awards ceremony at The Regent Hotel in Doncaster.

Every learner's achievement was recognised, both in accredited learning and non-accredited learning. Special awards, not just recognised by YMCA Training, but also by the placement provider were presented for vocational achievements. The three winners of these awards were Jamie Leigh Bridges, Matthew Peate and Tiffany Moore.

Sammie Jo Conner received an award for Outstanding Achievement, after achieving qualifications in all three Functional Skills, Personal and Social Development and Childcare.

Liam Gravill received an award for Skills Gained in Construction, and the award for Most Improved Learner 2011 went to Aaron Webster.

Michelle Smith, pre-16 manager at YMCA Training Doncaster, said," It was great to be part of this ceremony and celebrate the success of our learners with their parents and referral agencies."
