YMCA Training locations through England celebrated
Apprenticeship Week (7-11 February) by hosting a series of events
to engage with both young people and local employers.
The events gave both young people and employers the opportunity
to find out more about apprenticeships and how they can get
involved in apprenticeship programmes with YMCA Training.
Events were held at YMCA Training locations in Bristol,
Doncaster, Eastbourne, Great Yarmouth, Hove, Leeds, Norwich,
Oldham, Salford, Warrington and Welwyn Garden City.
Chief Executive of YMCA Training, Anne Linsey, said:
"YMCA Training is committed to delivering high quality work
based learning programmes - last year we supported over 2,200 young
people on apprenticeships throughout England.
Apprenticeship Week gave us the opportunity to show young people
what an apprenticeship could mean for them, as well as encouraging
employers to think about the value of apprenticeships for their
business or organisation."
