A YMCA Training staff member from
Oldham is celebrating a milestone after completing 10 years of
service for the organisation.
Christine Wall, or Chris as she is
known to colleagues, joined YMCA Training in 2000 as an assessor
and has seen the location grow from four members of staff and 50
learners to 26 members of staff and over 300 learners.
Since joining the organisation as an
assessor, Chris has progressed to internal verification in a number
of areas including customer service, functional skills and retail,
and is responsible for liaising with awarding bodies from
registration to certification of learners.
Speaking of her role at YMCA Training,
Chris said: "Since joining YMCA Training in Oldham I have seen the
centre develop and grow. Over the years my colleagues have been the
best people to work with and we all try and support each
other. My job isn't just a job, it's an
adventure!"
