Get financial support for your training needs

By training your staff you'll make your business more successful and will get that competitive edge in the marketplace. The government wants to support businesses to develop a more highly skilled workforce. Employers can now access financial assistance towards training for their staff through a new government initiative: Train to Gain.

YMCA Training provides NVQs funded by the Train to Gain initiative in a range of areas including Retail, Health and Social Care, Early Years and Education and Business and Administration. 

Your business could receive fully subsidised training for employees to work towards an NVQ Level 2. You could also get further financial support for a trainee's progression to an NVQ Level 3. 

When you enter into a Train to Gain partnership with YMCA Training, we will work with you to:

• Identify the skills gap in your workforce
• Decide on the type of training that suits your business
• Agree a tailored training package
• Find available funding
• Review the trainees' progress

In many areas we are working in partnership with other providers so that you can access a wide range of training from just one source.
